An introduction to basic computer-aided drafting concepts using AutoCAD. Students will learn drafting techniques that are in common use within the industry. Emphasis is placed on drawing setup, creating and modifying geometry, storing and retrieving files, placing, rotating, and scaling objects, adding text and dimensions, using layers, creating blocks, and interpreting and constructing plan, elevation, and section views.
